A smile for Valentine’s Day – Dentistry From The Heart, Hosted by Shamblott Family Dentistry

This year, make sure you and your friends and neighbors know about Dentistry from the Heart, a day of free dental care for those in need. Sponsored by Shamblott Family Dentistry, new patients are welcome to visit their Hopkins or Saint Paul offices on Tuesday, February 14, for needed dental treatment. “You matter and your smile matters – especially to us!” says Toni H, Practice Manager at Shamblott Family Dentistry.

“Patients usually start lining up before we open. It’s a great day for us because we get to make a difference for everyone we see,” says Dr. Scott Shamblott, founder of Shamblott Family Dentistry. “Getting people out of pain is one of the most rewarding things we do. Giving patients back their smiles, and getting people to smile for their first time ever in a dental office are wonderful, too.”

Dr. Shamblott is proud to be the dentist who brought DFTH to Minnesota. He and his team have been hosting this annual event since 2007. Now in its 17th year in Minnesota, the local Dentistry from the Heart event is part of a network of events across the US and internationally, designed to make people smile. Since 20% of adults know they have cavities but haven’t had them filled, and over 100 million Americans lack dental insurance, this event meets a huge need in our local community.

Shamblott Family Dentistry has given away more than $390,000 in free dentistry through this event, and Dentistry from the Heart says more than $25 million in dental treatments has been given away to patients across the country.

This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, February 14, at Shamblott Family Dentistry in Hopkins and in their Saint Paul location, at 400 Selby Avenue, in the Blair Arcade. Starting at 7:00 am, Dr. Shamblott and his team will treat as many patients as possible. It’s first-come, first-served, so patients should arrive early.
